WHO WE ARE

The Africa Strongman Federation is the official continental governing body for Strongman sport across Africa, operating under the World Strongman International Union.

Strongman is more than a show — it is a professional speed-power all-around discipline. We bridge the gap between ancient cultural heritage and modern athletic standards.

The Africa Strongman Federation was established to unite national federations across the African continent, providing a unified framework for competition, athlete development, and the promotion of strength sport at every level.

OUR MANDATE

As the continental federation, AfSF is responsible for organising and sanctioning competitions across Africa, managing the qualification system for the World Strongman Championship.
